Periscope Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and GO Man Studios ("we", "us"), a business registered in Cook County, Illinois, United States, and the operator of Periscope. Periscope means the website at periscope.email, the iPhone app, the daily email and the Periscope connector for AI assistants. By creating an account or using Periscope you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

1. Who may use Periscope

You must be 18 or older and use Periscope for your work. If you use it for a company, you confirm that you may accept these terms for that company.

2. What Periscope does

Periscope monitors news about the companies you choose. It scores each story for how relevant it is to what you sell, and helps you find people at those companies and draft outreach. We improve Periscope all the time, so features change. We will tell you before we remove something you pay for.

3. Your account and your team

  • Keep your sign-in to yourself. One account is for one person.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Team workspaces. The workspace owner invites and removes members, chooses what they may do, and pays for the credits members spend. Members of a shared territory see its accounts, contacts, drafts and comments. A workspace owner who still has teammates cannot delete their own account until the teammates are removed.

4. Your content

You keep everything you put into Periscope: your value proposition, your notes, your account lists and what you write. You let us store and process it, and send it to the providers in the Privacy Policy, only to run Periscope for you and your team. We may use counts and other information that identifies no one to understand and improve Periscope.

5. Contact information about other people

Periscope shows business contact details from third-party sources (Apollo.io), from news articles, and from what you import.

  • You are responsible for how you use them. Follow the laws that apply to you and to the people you contact: anti-spam, privacy and do-not-call rules, and honouring every request to stop. Examples are CAN-SPAM and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act in the United States, the GDPR in the European Union and the United Kingdom, and Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act, with its Do Not Call rules, and Spam Control Act.
  • Do not resell contact details, export them in bulk to another product, or use them for anything but your own sales outreach.
  • Contact details can be wrong or out of date, and we do not promise they are accurate.

6. AI output

Drafts, briefs, scores and suggestions are written by AI models and can be wrong. Read everything before you use it. Periscope never sends a message on your behalf: you send it yourself, and you are responsible for what you send. Nothing in Periscope is legal, financial or investment advice.

7. News content

Stories come from third-party publishers and news services. We link to the original and show short summaries. The publishers own their content.

8. Things you may not do

  • Copy, scrape or resell Periscope or its data, or build a competing product from it.
  • Probe, break or overload Periscope, or get around credits, limits or security.
  • Share your API or connector key, or use someone else's account.
  • Use Periscope to harass anyone, to send spam, or for anything unlawful.

9. Plans, credits and payment

  • Prices are on the pricing page, in Singapore dollars. Plans are billed through Stripe and renew until you cancel.
  • Credits pay for actions such as drafts and contact reveals. Each action shows its price before you use it.
    • Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred, except within your workspace.
    • Credits expire. Credits that come with a monthly plan last two months from when they are granted. Credits that come with an annual plan last until one month after the term ends. Top-up credits last 12 months. Other credits, such as trial or promotional credits, last as long as we say when we give them. The soonest-expiring credits are spent first.
  • Refunds: payments and credits are not refundable, except where the law requires it or we agree otherwise in writing. Most actions are charged only after they succeed. A phone number request is charged when it is made, even if no number is found. If you think you were charged for something that did not work, email support@periscope.email.
  • The iPhone app sells nothing. Plans and credits are bought on periscope.email.
  • Cancelling stops future renewals. Credits you already have stay usable until they expire.
  • Taxes: if tax applies to your purchase, checkout shows it before you pay.

10. Free trials

A trial gives you Periscope for the period and with the credits shown when you start it. If you added a card to start the trial, the plan shown when you started begins when the trial ends and your card is charged, unless you cancel before then. If you run out of credits without a paid plan, monitoring pauses until you choose a plan or add credits.

11. Ending

  • You can delete your account at any time: on the website (Settings → Delete account) or in the iPhone app (Me → Delete account). Deleting cancels your subscription and permanently removes your data, as the Privacy Policy describes.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that we must close by law. Unless the law or security prevents it, we will tell you first. If we close Periscope itself, we will give you at least 30 days' notice.

12. The iPhone app

The app is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, and these terms govern the Periscope service it connects to. Apple is not responsible for Periscope or for supporting it.

13. No warranty

Periscope is provided "as is". We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any story, score, draft or contact detail is accurate or complete.

14. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, or indirect or consequential loss.
  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

15. Your responsibility to us

If someone brings a claim against us because of how you used contact details or what you sent, you will cover our reasonable costs of that claim.

16. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its rules on conflicts of law. The state and federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois decide disputes, unless the law where you live gives you another right.

17. Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email you at least 14 days before the change takes effect. If you keep using Periscope after that, the new terms apply.
